This course teaches students how to customise AutoCAD for various industries and applications. AutoCAD software provides a flexible development platform for specialized design and drafting applications. Its open architecture enables you to customize AutoCAD to suit your unique purposes. 

AutoCAD provides the ObjectARX programming environment with the object-oriented C++ programming interfaces, the managed AutoCAD .NET API, the complete Visual LISP development environment and the ActiveX interface. 

This course is focused on customising Autodesk Inventor software which serves as a flexible development platform for building specialized mechanical design applications, as well as for interfacing with upstream, downstream, and enterprise applications for manufacturers. 

Inventor exposes its programming interface using a COM Automation interface. You can access this interface using most of the popular programming languages available today including Microsoft Visual C++, VB, C, and Delphi. Autodesk Inventor includes Microsoft's VBA, the most popular programming environment in the world.

This course teaches students to use Autodesk Inventor iLogic which enhances the parametric design capabilities of Inventor software by providing a powerful and elegant solution for rules-based design. With its easy-to-use rules authoring capabilities and an intuitive user interface seamlessly integrated with Inventor, Inventor iLogic shatters barriers to automating tedious design tasks and adds higher levels of design intelligence to your digital prototypes.

In this course, students learn how to customise Autodesk Revit which provides a rich and powerful .NET API which can be used to automate repetitive tasks, extend the core functionality of Revit in simulation, conceptual design, construction and building management, and much more. Revit .NET API allows you to program with any .NET compliant language including VB.NET, C#, and managed C++.
