Course Description

This courseware is designed for the experience AutoCAD user who requires additional training. It incorporatesthe features, commands, and techinques for becoming more productive when creating, annotating, and printing drawings with AutoCAD 2009.

This intermediate-level course continues to build on the basic concepts of the AutoCAD 2009 Essentials course.

Hands-on exercises throughout the courseware explore how to create 2D production drawings. The exercises are provided in both a printed format as well as an onscreen fomat that can be viewed next to AutoCAD.


Learning Objectives

The primary objectives of this courseware are:

  • To teach students powrful tools and techniques for drawing, dimensioning, and printing 2D drawings.
  • To enable students to reuse content that has been previously created, and extract information form their drawings.

With an understanding of these tools, students can begin to streamline the design process and become more productive with AutoCAD 2009.

Students learn the features, commands, and techniques for creating, editing, and printing drawings with AutoCAD® 2009 and AutoCAD LT® 2009. Using hands-on exercises, students explore how to create 2D production drawings.
